Don't use SEOExpress. They spam your site with backlinks, then charge you to remove them.

What happened

I run a small-business website. I looked at SEOExpress once, decided not to hire them, and moved on. Not long after, my backlink reports (Ahrefs, Google Search Console) started filling with links from domains I had never heard of — hundreds of them, then more than a thousand.

They were not random. The pages carried made-up first-person "success stories" written as if I had hired SEOExpress and it worked, for example:

"Back when I first launched [my website], every penny counted. That's why discovering SEOExpress.org felt like a gift!…" Text on a link-farm page, attributed to my website (domain redacted here). I never wrote it, never hired them, never gave permission.

Every page follows the same template: a fake testimonial naming a real business, a link to that business, and a link back to seoexpress.org. The purpose is to make SEOExpress look like it has thousands of happy clients — using other people's names, without their permission — and to make it look like the linked businesses endorse them.

I asked the WhatsApp number that answers for SEOExpress to remove the links to my site. The reply was a price.

The messages

Below is the WhatsApp exchange, transcribed from my screenshot. The account is a WhatsApp Business profile with an "SEO" logo at +1 (409) 934-7932. Punctuation and wording are as sent.

Why this is one operator, not 419 unrelated websites

The domain list below looks like 419 different companies. It isn't. Here is the evidence that it is one network built and run by the same party:

1. The name is in the domains. 91 of the 419 hub domains contain the string seoexpress — seoexpress.store, seoexpress.site, seoexpress.online, elite-seoexpress-link-building-team.store, master-seoexpress-guest-post-partners.store and so on. Another 47 use the sibling brands outrank-hq, link-baron and rank-forge on the same template.
2. They were generated in batches. Domains in the same batch link out to almost exactly the same number of sites, because they share one outbound-link list. The clusters are unmistakable:

   216 different .store domains with an identical 4,956 outbound linked domains is not a coincidence — it is one page template deployed 216 times.
3. Same template, same fake stories. The page titles repeat verbatim across unrelated domains ("There Was a Time When Getting Noticed Online Seemed Impossible. My Research Led Me to SEOExpress.org…"), each with a different victim's business name dropped in.
4. Everything routes back to seoexpress.org. Multiple Trustpilot reviewers report the farm pages redirect to, or link to, seoexpress.org. The farm exists to advertise that one site.
5. The number that answers for SEOExpress controls the links. When asked why the links existed, the reply was "Promotion"; when asked to remove them, a price. You can only sell removal of links you control.
6. Registration pattern. Almost all are throwaway TLDs bought in bulk — 193 .shop, 178 .store, 18 .com, 4 .site — with names that are keyword word-salad ("premium-contextual-link-and-guest-posting-marketplace.store"). These are not businesses; they are inventory.

The list is limited to hubs with more than 3,000 outbound linked domains, so it under-counts the network; the full set of farm domains that hit my site alone is over 700.

What other people report

I am not the only one. On SEOExpress's Trustpilot page (unclaimed profile, 1.7 out of 5 from 18 reviews as of August 16, 2026) website owners from the US, UK, Australia, Argentina, Finland, India, Spain, Canada, Hong Kong and the Netherlands independently describe the same three things:

• Mass spam backlinks to sites that never hired them, from thousands of throwaway domains that redirect to seoexpress.org.
• Fake testimonials — reviewers say SEOExpress published content claiming they were clients and that SEOExpress "ranked" them, using their brand names without permission. Several note the company's contact email bounces and its web form goes to WhatsApp.
• Pay-to-remove — more than one reviewer, in different countries, reports being asked for money to remove links they never asked for. One writes that the operator admitted someone else had paid to have their site spammed.

Read them yourself: trustpilot.com/review/seoexpress.org. If it happened to you, add your review there — a public, dated record is what protects the next person.

If this is happening to you

1. Do not pay. Paying rewards the scheme, does not stop it, and marks you as someone who pays.
2. Do not reply beyond a single removal request, and keep a screenshot of the reply. That reply is your evidence.
3. Disavow. Google says spam links you didn't build are generally ignored, but if you can see them you can disavow them. Download the disavow file above, merge it with your own list, and upload it in Google Search Console's Disavow tool. (Remember an upload replaces the previous file — always merge.) Bing retired its disavow tool in 2023.
4. Report the fake testimonials. Content that claims your business endorsed a service you never used is false advertising. Report the pages to Google (spam report), to the domain registrar, and to the hosting provider named in the WHOIS.
5. Report the demand. In the US, a demand for money to stop harm to your business can be reported to the FTC (reportfraud.ftc.gov) and the FBI's IC3 (ic3.gov). Outside the US, your national consumer or cyber-crime authority.
6. Leave a public review. Trustpilot, Google, wherever they have a profile. A dated public record is what lets the next target find this pattern in one search.
7. Watch, don't panic. My rankings did not collapse. Google is good at ignoring this kind of link. The damage is time and worry — which is exactly what the "$1,000" is priced against.
